Located in the southwest of the Island of Meloneras the five-star H10 Playa Meloneras Horizons Collection is in a great position overlooking the sea and alongside a golf course. It’s about 25 minutes’ drive from the Airport and the lively resort of Playa del Ingles is about 10 minutes away. There is no shortage of good quality golf courses nearby with the two courses at Salobre Golf and Maspolamas Golf the closest. Both the Old and the New courses at Salobre are fairly typical of Golf in Spain with tee shots requiring careful placement to negotiate the numerous hazards and challenging shots into the greens. Maspaolmas Golf is a little easier with wider fairways and it requires the sea breeze to make it a more challenging test.
The Lopespan Meloneras course is scenically exciting with three holes along the cliff top and a further 6 holes providing views of the sea. The other 9 overlook the nearby mountain and the course can be made as easy or as hard as you like as there are four different teeing areas to play from.
The Anfi Tauro Golf course is a combination of quality golf holes again with a number of different teeing areas so that it can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. If the golf game is a little off take in the outstanding views on offer of the local scenery and you will still have an enjoyable round.
