There are lots of great options but if you are looking for mainland Europe then Murcia is a popular choice! The Residences at Mar Menor Golf Resort offer great 4* apartments with a choice of six Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses to play. There are alternative resorts in the region with a similar price such as Roda Golf & Beach Resort. Other options include Lagos and Tavira for those wanting something alternative from Vilamoura but still like the Algarve, whilst Melia Villaitana Resort near Benidorm in Alicante is popular with UK and Irish golfers.

When is the cheapest time to travel?

We think that November is a great time to travel, especially for those looking to play in Spain, Portugal or Turkey. The weather is unlikely to be noticeably different from September or October but it’s not considered high season so flights, accommodation and green fees are often cheaper meaning cheap golf deals can be had.
