In preparation for the WGC – American Express Golf Championship that was held here in September 2002 and again in 2004, the Jack Nicklaus design team instigated some extensions and new features to the course, showing Mount Juliet’s continued pursuit of golfing excellence.
Other events at Mount Juliet Golf Club include the Irish Opens of 1993-95 along with the Shell Wonderful World of Golf match between Tom Watson and Fred Couples in 1998.
