Golf courses
Play the Legends and Links golf courses, both of which are located just a ten minute drive away.
Legends opened in 1994 and was the first championship course on the island of Mauritius, offering 18-holes laid out in the heart of an indigenous forest.
Links is the newer of the two courses, opening its doors in November 2002. This is another 18-hole track with fewer lakes than Legends. Designed by Rodney Wright and the voice of golf, Peter Allis.
Accommodation

There are numerous restaurants at the resort - experience a leisurely lunch at Archipel, or experience the seafood menu of Le Barachois on a floating platform. Laguna Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail on an evening with views over the Indian Ocean as is Lotus Lounge Bar and Floating Bar.
The Spa at this resort is incredibly luxurious, with amenities including sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, and thermal pool. Whilst those with energy to burn after playing a round of golf can hit the gym which features all the latest equipment, or you can hit the floodlit tennis courts or explore the cycle paths surrounding the resort.
If water sports are your thing then enjoy kayaking, windsurfing, and paddle boarding or experience a tranquil boat tour.
Other things to do
Take a boat trip to the island of Île aux Cerfs which is just off the east coast where you can sunbathe of white sandy beaches or engage in some water sports. If you want to explore the mainland, put your hiking boots on and visit Black River Gorges National Park or visit Chamarel to view the stunning Seven Colored Earths. If you want to experience the local markets, take a wander around the island’s capital, Port Louis which is around 45 minutes drive going west.
