Golf courses
Staying at this resort gives you access to the Heritage Golf Club which is a fabulous 45-hole golf complex, often considered the finest in the Indian Ocean region. Two of the courses here host DP World Tour events so you can be assured of its exceptional quality!
The par 72 Le Chateau Golf Course was designed by Peter Matkovich who is a former European Tour player and is regularly voted the best course in the Indian Ocean.
La Reserve Golf Links opened in December 2023 however has quickly established a fantastic reputation as the first and only links style course in Mauritius.
Accommodation
There are a wide range of room types here and a total of 158 suites, from Deluxe Suite, Deluxe Sea View Suite, and Junior Suites with either Garden or Sea View - all of which are oozing in luxury.
Each of the suites are elegantly decorated, with Christian Lacroix's artwork adding some additional luxury. All room types come with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, complimentary WiFi so you can connect your own devices, flat screen television, bathtub and separate shower.
Facilities
The Wellness Pavilion at Heritage Le Telfair is the ideal spot to indulge in relaxation and therapies when not out on the golf course. There are also two swimming pools and tropical gardens to enjoy the peaceful tranquility that Mauritius offers.
There are a choice of 12 restaurants and bars to relax in away from the fairways. These include Annabella’s which is a brasserie style restaurant,, Gin’ja which provides a Pan-Asian menu, La Palmier which offers relaxed dining by the beach, and The Cavendish Bar and Lounge which serves up cocktails in a relaxed piano bar environment.
Other things to do
Enjoy C Beach Club which is next door to the resort to sunbathe and enjoy the sunny weather, take scenic hikes in Black River Gorges, and the unique Seven Coloured Earths in Chamarel. Dive into vibrant reefs at Blue Bay Marine Park or explore the history of the island in Port Louis. Finally, don’t miss Le Morne Brabant which is a peninsula at the southwestern tip for incredible views!
