Designed by British golfer Colin Montgomerie in association with Desmond Muirhead, the Montgomerie golf course features 18 holes over 265 acres, with a yardage of 7,308 off the back tees. Beautiful large greens and stunning ‘links land’ style fairways are some of the main characteristics of this course.
The Els Club is another 18 hole course, with a par of 72 and slightly longer off the back tees than the Montgomerie at 7,538 yards. As you can guess from the name it is designed by the man himself, Ernie Els.
Following on from two world-class golfers designing a course, we have the Faldo course at Emirates Golf Club which six-time major winner Nick Faldo re-designed in 2005 after originally opening in 1996. Another 18-hole course with a par of 72, 7,347 yards from the back tee.
Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is a par 71 layout that is one of the older courses in Dubai, having originally opened in 1971. With beautiful views over the Marina, this is one to take your camera to!
Arabian Ranches Golf Club opened in 2004 and stretches 7,658 yards on a 247-acre site and is a par 72.
